Flipped my last laptop a few minutes ago.
I sold it to a Mexican guy and his two younger kids. He wanted me to change the language to Spanish which wasn’t hard. His son was super talkitive though, but he looked like he was 5 and that’s what 5 year old’s do. I tested out everything for him and made sure it was in working condition.
He said if I came across a smaller laptop just call him because he’d buy that too. I said if he has any problems with that one just call me, but they never have any problems, because I know my shit.

Google Will Remove Any Illegal, Unauthorized, Copyright-Infringing Music From Its Cloud - Gizmodo

http://gizmodo.com/5800490/google-will-remove-your-music-from-its-cloud-if-it…

Word from Google IO is that Google Music will delete user MP3s, if the copyright holder has a legitimate claim against their music being on the server. And it will use the same backend tech to do so as YouTube.

I like reading the paranoid comments on how to get around this.

As far as I can tell, if you upload your whole library of music to this, nobody would be able to see it but you. Google will be able to see it, but why would Google give a shit.

It’s similar to G-mail in which they give you 7GB of free space with which you could do anything with. I know a lot of people who still pass music around that way. That’s how most music blogger’s pass around songs, before they hit hosting sites.

I don’t even see a way you could download music back to your computer. This is nothing like youtube. How can someone bring a claim against you, if they can’t see anything that you have. The only way I could see Google removing something from your account is if you upload something before it was suppose to come out in stores.

Google probably said this just to cover their ass before record labels started crying, which will probably be tomorrow or tonight.

I like the way Apple does business.

They have people climbing the walls for this Ipad 2. They didn’t even put a commercial out for this thing until it was already sold out and backordered.

Have you seen New Jack City? Where Chris Rock is explaining how crack calls him and he needs it.

It’s similar except this Ipad 2 is completely harmless. You have a Iphone 4 and 1st Gen Ipad right, but that’s not enough, you need that Ipad 2, you have to have it. It’s so fast, right. I watched video’s on youtube where people compare the speed of the Ipad 1 and the Ipad 2 and there’s like half a second to 1.5 second difference between them when you open up apps. It’s 9x faster though, so you need it, so you’ll be ready when it need’s to go that fast.

This Ipad 2 has facetime, and records video, but after having facetime since September, I’ve only encountered two people with it, my mom’s and my partner in my human growth and development class, and I haven’t thought once about facetiming with them. How would you even really know who has facetime or not? Recording video on it is just stupid, I can’t even make a comparison to anything

Apple’s is getting a cut of everything, a cut from the sell of apps, a cut from in app purchases, and with newspapers and magazines, they get a cut from the sell of a subscription even if it’s done outside the app.

Apple is basically printing money.

Don’t get me wrong I think the Ipad 2 is a revolutionary piece of technology, but from what I’ve been reading people need their fix now. Fuck waiting. I have the money now, so Apple should just take it.

Personally, I’m holding out for an 1st generation Ipad that I’ll probably get in May, with a case and a bluetooth keyboard, and I’m sure I’ll be able to get all of that for 300 dollars or less, refurbished. I just want to be able to read my textbooks on it, but more on that when that time comes.
